1.Biocon chairperson & MD Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw
has been awarded the Order of Australia, country’s highest civilian honour, for
her significant contribution towards advancing bilateral relationship with

2.Hyderabad has emerged as world's most dynamic
city, performing better on parameters like socio-economic & commercial real

6.Indian classical singer Sunanda Patnaik,
popularly known as “guruma” passed away at a private hospital in Kolkata at the
age of 85. She started singing at All India Radio in Cuttack in 1948 at the age
of 14.She received Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi award in 1970 and 1971.
7.Fertiliser Minister DV Sadananda Gowda
launched the ‘Apna Urea - Sona Ugle’ brand of Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan
Limited (HURL) for the revival of 3 sick urea plants located at Gorakhpur,
Sindri and Barauni & also unveiled the company’s logo.HURL is a JV company
b/w IOCL, NTPC & Coal India.
8.Prakash Javadekar & R K Singh on
inaugurated Elecrama 2020 in Noida, organised by industry body IEEMA which is
targeting businesses worth Rs 30,000 crore during the 5-day event. Focus of
this year's event: e-mobility, energy storage, start-up among others.U.P. govt
set a target of installing 2000 MW solar power y-o-y.

10.Nripendra Misra, has been appointed
chairperson of the executive council of the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library
(NMML) while Dr A Surya Prakash, chairperson of the Prasar Bharati board, to be
the council's vice-chairperson.Nripendra Misra is a Former principal secretary
to PM Modi.
