2.Mohammed Salahuddin won the men’s triple jump gold at the Tatyana Kolpakova memorial international athletics meet at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Inderjeet Singh took the shot put gold with 18.67m. He has a personal best of 20.65m which came in 2015.Hima Das clocked 23.43m for the women’s 200m gold.
3.Russia launched a space telescope from the cosmodrome in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, in a joint mission with Germany.A video posted on the website of Roskosmos, showed a Proton-M rocket carrying the Spektr-RG taking off from Baikonur.Roskosmos is a Russian space agency.
