1.President has appointed Anusuiya Uikey & Biswa Bhusan Harichandan as Governor of Chhattisgarh & Andhra Pradesh respectively. Also, Kalraj Mishra was appointed as Himachal Pradesh Governor, replacing Acharya Devvrat, who has appointed as Gujarat Governor.

4.German Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen has been elected as the European Commission's first female president. She will replace Jean-Claude Juncker. 5.Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju conferred Arjuna Awards to tennis player Rohan Bopanna and women cricketer Smriti Mandhana. Bopanna who won the tennis gold medal in men’s double category in Asian Games 2018.Mandhana was the ICC women’s player of the year 2018.
6.India & Italy have decided to set up a fast track mechanism to facilitate investors & companies. 7.India is set to be the first recipient of local currency financing by the Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank. 8.The 21st Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship has begun in Cuttack. 12 countries including Australia, England and Malaysia are participating in the event. 9.Vijayveer Sidhu won the gold medal at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany, combining with Rajkanwar Singh Sandhu and Adarsh Singh in the men's 25m pistol event. India maintained its top spot at the medal standings with 7 gold medals.
10.Lt Gen JS Gharaya, who was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra in the 1971 Indo-Pak war and Kirti Chaka in the 1947 Hyderabad operations, passed away. He was 93. During the 1971 war, he was commanding a brigade in the Jessore Sector on the eastern front.Kirti Chakra is the second-highest peacetime gallantry award.
