1.Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer 7-6(5), 1-6, 7-6(4), 4-6, 13-12(3) to lift his fifth Wimbledon Men’s title. Simona Halep won her second Grand Slam singles title, defeating Serena Williams in the final, 6–2, 6–2.Novak Djokovic now level on Bjorn Borg with 5 Wimbledon titles.

2.England became only the 3rd team after India and Australia to win the World Cup on their home soil defeating New Zealand in final. England reached the final of the World Cup for the first time since 1992.Kane Williamson was named Player of the Tournament.

3.World Youth Skills Day is marked to promote youth skills development and abilities. In 2019, UNESCO and the UNEVOC network will join the global celebrations to mark the day. This year, the theme is "Learning to learn for life and work".Mahendra Nath Pandey-Union Skill Development minister.

4.SR Batliboi & Co has resigned as the statutory auditor of IndusInd Bank .The move follows the decision of the Reserve Bank of India, on June 3, to not allow SR Batliboi to carry out statutory audits in commercial banks with effect from April 1, 2019.Srichand P Hinduja is promoter of IndusInd Bank.

5.The Reserve Bank of India will come out with a mobile application to help visually challenged people in identifying currency notes as cash still remains a dominant mode of transaction.Reserve Bank of India was founded on 1 April 1935.

6.According to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) ,India’s second mission to the moon, Chandrayaan-2 onboard GSLVMkIII-M1, was called off Less than an hour before lift off, due to a technical snag.A technical snag was observed at t-minus 56 minutes.

7.According to research by the Mckinsey Global Institute (MGI),India is poised to overtake the UK to become the world’s fifth largest economy, with a GDP or gross domestic production about double the size of either Canada or Russia, in the coming years.52% of Asian trade is intra-regional.

8.Flipkart co-founder and tech entrepreneur Sachin Bansal has invested ₹200 crore in debt paper issued by Piramal Enterprises Ltd. He has subscribed to non-convertible debentures (NCDs) issued by Piramal Enterprises.In May, he invested $3 million each in startups Vogo and Bounce.

9.Audi India's current Dealer Development head, Balbir Singh Dhillon, has been appointed as Audi India Head. His tenure as Head, Audi India will commence from September 1st 2019.Audi is German luxury car manufacturer

10.Japan’s Hayabusa2 spacecraft has become the first ever space probe to gather material from beneath the surface of an asteroid. The asteroid mission first reached Ryugu in June 2018 & its first touchdown on the surface in February 2019.JAXA is the space agency of Japan & founded in 2003.
