1.An Agri-Business Incubation Centre has started in Chhattisgarh. It is set up under National Agriculture Development Scheme- RAFTAAR which aims to make farming a remunerative economic activity by strengthening farmer’s effort & promoting agribusiness.Centre has been set up by the Union Agriculture Ministry.

2.Meghalaya became the 1st state to ensure conservation of water & have water policy. The aim of policy is to spot water resources as common pool resource, to provide safe & hygienic water for drinking, sanitation & livelihood development to all residents.Meghalaya Governor - Tathagata Roy.

3.Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will give a $100-million loan to L&T Infrastructure Finance Company for wind and solar infrastructure projects in India. This is the first time AIIB is extending a loan to a non-banking finance company.India targets to install 175GW of renewable energy Cap. by 2022.

4.Nabard has planned to raise about ₹ 55000 Cr from the market in the current fiscal to fund its business growth & support various agricultural & rural development schemes of the govt. Nabard has raised ₹ 12000 Cr in the 1st quarter of the current FY.Nabard chairman - Harsh Kumar Bhanwala.

5.According to a report by the Reserve Bank India, Bhubaneswar remains the most affordable city for homebuyers, while Mumbai remains the least affordable one in India. RBI has been conducting a quarterly residential asset price monitoring survey (RAPMS).RBI has been conducting RAPMS survey since July 2010.

6.According to the data released by the Central Statistics Office, Retail inflation increased marginally to 3.18% in June due to the rise in food prices. The retail inflation based on the Consumer Price Index stood at 3.05% in May & 4.92% in June last year.Rao Inderjit Singh - Minister of State for MOSPI.

7.India & US have agreed to grow their economic relationship & address mutual trade concerns. 8.Ajay Singh has won Gold in 81 kg category at Commonwealth Championships in Apia, city of Samoa. Papul Changmai clinched the silver medal by lifting a total of 313kgs in the same event. P Anuradha lifted 221kg to grab the 1st place in men's 87kg category.RV Rahul settled for the 2nd spot in the 89kg event.

9.International Business Machines Corp closed its $34 billion acquisition of software company Red Hat Inc to ramp up its cloud computing business. The company won approval for the purchase from U.S. regulators &European Union regulators.Red Hat specializes in Linux operating systems & founded in 1993.
