1.Haryana government announced ₹4,750-crore interest & penalty waiver on crop loans taken from cooperative banks, benefitting around 10 lakh farmers in state. 5% penalty imposed on farmers who failed to repay loans taken from PACS, to be completely waived.Haryana Governor: Satyadev Narayan Arya.

4.IDBI Bank is set to get a fresh lifeline of Rs 9,000 crore from the Government. LIC, which is the majority owner of IDBI Bank, would infuse close to Rs 4,500 crore as its share, the government is expected to chip in with a matching contribution.It is a part of Rs 70000 cr bank recapitalisation plan.
