1.India’s first Space Science Museum has opened in Hyderabad. It exhibits scale models of Launch vehicles GSLV Mark III, GSLV Mark II & PSLV, Chandrayaan-1, Mars Orbiter spacecraft, APPLE, Aryabhata, Bhaskara, Rohini RS-1& a model of the ISS.It is a collaborative effort b/w ISRO & BM Birla Science Centre.
2.Govt has reconstituted Inter-State Council & Standing Committee of the Inter-State Council. Modi is the Chairman of the Council. CMs of all States & 6 Union Ministers including Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah & Nirmala Sitharaman are the members of the Council.Amit Shah - Chairman of the Standing Committee.

7.IIT Kharagpur researchers have developed a low-cost diagnostic device to perform pathological tests by using blood. The device requires a paper strip-based kit integrated with a smartphone to enable analytics & readout functions & an LED light for imaging.CARE4U App was developed by IIT Kharagpur for elderly people.
8.Govt appointed VG Somani as Drug Controller General of India. DCGI heads the Indian drug regulatory body CDSCO, whose functions include ensuring the quality of drugs and cosmetics sold in the country, approval of new drugs and regulating clinical trials.Somani is currently Joint Drugs Controller of India.
9.Govt constituted high-level panel has recommended a green channel route for automatic approval of certain combinations. Under the Competition Act, combinations (mergers and acquisitions) beyond a certain threshold require clearance from the CCI.Competition Law Review Committee is chaired by Injeti Srinivas.
