9.Agri Minister Narendra Singh Tomar announced the launching of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana ,a pension scheme for small and marginal farmers in which the farmers would get a monthly pension of ₹ 3,000 once he or she would attain the age of 60.Farmers whose cultivable land is 2 hectares or less, can enroll.
10.Yes Bank has embarked on a plan to generate $285 million (Rs 2,000 crore) by selling shares through a qualified institutional placement (QIP) . The bank’s core Tier I capital ratio declined to 8 per cent in June 2019.The bank had originally intended to raise as much as $1 billion.
