1.The Goods and Services Tax Council lowered tax on electric vehicles to 5 percent from 12 percent earlier. It also reduced the tax rate on the EV chargers or charging stations to 5 percent from 18 percent.The new tax rate will be effective from Aug. 1, 2019.
2.According to US Aerospace company Boeing the first four of 22 AH-64E Apaches helicopters ordered by India had been received by the Indian Air Force at the Hindon Station near New Delhi. 9.Former union minister and senior Congress leader from Telangana, S. Jaipal Reddy passed away.
