1.UC Web Global subsidiary of Alibaba Group has appointed Huaiyuan Yang as its VP to look overseas business of UCWeb, including India and Indonesia. UC ,recently announced updates to UC Browser Mini and UC Browser Turbo.Shunyan Zhu is President of UCWeb.

2.Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoPSI) in a bid to effectively track the progress on Agenda 2030, launched India’s first Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) dashboard. It is a framework with 306 statistical indicators.Rao Inderjit Singh is in charge of MoPSI.

3.UP Governor Ram Naik on the recommendation of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given his approval for the appointment of Prabhat Kumar as the chairman of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission(UPPSC).Govind Ballabh Pant- First CM of U.P.

4.Jonathan Ive, designer of the iMac, iPod and iPhone, is set to leave apple later this year to start a creative firm, LoveFrom, with Apple as its first client. He became head of Apple's design studio in 1996.On June 29, 2007, the first iPhone was released.

5.The 2nd phase of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) mechanism as an alternative for retail investors to buy shares in a public issue will be effective from July 1. The implementation of Phase 3 will continue unchanged from the date of completion of Phase 2.Ajay Tyagi is current chairman of SEBI.

6.India & Indonesia have set an ambitious USD 50 bn. target for bilateral trade over the next six years as PM Narendra Modi and President Joko Widodo discussed ways to deepen cooperation in a no. of key areas including economy, defence and maritime security.This was Modi’s first official engagement in G20 summit.

7.RBI relaxed the leverage ratio (LR) for banks to help them boost their lending activities. The leverage ratio stands reduced to 4% for Domestic Systemically Important Banks (DSIBs) and 3.5% for other banks effective from the quarter commencing Oct 1, 2019.Current RBI Governor : Shaktikanta Das.

8.Manchester United signed England Under-21 right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace in a £50m deal. He made his first-team debut for Palace last year & has agreed a five-year contract that will earn him up to £80,000 a week.Manchester United Manager- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

9.21-year-old American Taylor Fritz claimed his maiden ATP title in Eastbourne, beating compatriot Sam Querrey 6-3 6-4 in the final. He is son of former top-10 player Kathy May. Karolina Pliskova clinched Eastbourne Women title beating Angelique Kerber.Novak Djokovic ranks No. 1 in Men's Tennis ATP Rankings.

10.Dipankar Banerjee, solar physicist from Indian Institute of Astrophysics appointed one of the Co-Investigator of the PUNCH mission. NASA has selected Texas-based Southwest Research Institute to lead its PUNCH mission which will image the Sun.PUNCH-Polarimeter to Unify the Corona and Heliosphere.
