1.Odisha government decided to provide transportation cost to students who stay more than a kilometer away from their schools. Only students with an attendance of more than 30% will get the transportation allowance.Odisha launched KALIA scheme for farmers welfare in Jan 2019.

2.Halwa is prepared and served to the entire staff in the Finance ministry who are directly associated with the Budget making and printing process, are required to stay in the ministry till the presentation of the Budget in the Lok Sabha.Government presented Interim Budget on February 1 2019.
