6.India was the world's fourth biggest military spender in 2018 behind the US, China, and Saudi Arabia, according to Swedish arms watchdog SIPRI. India, which was the fifth largest military spender in 2017, spent $66.5 billion in 2018.Total world military expenditure rose to $1,822 billion in 2018.
