1.Saudi Arabia will host the 15th annual G20 Leaders' Summit in 2020 on November 21-22, in its capital Riyadh. This will be the first G20 Summit to be hosted in the Arab world. G20 is an international forum containing 19 countries and the European Union.India will host G20 Summit in 2022.

5.India has dropped two places in the 2019 World Press Freedom Index released by Reporters Without Borders, ranking 140 out of 180 countries. At least six Indian journalists were killed in connection with their work in 2018.Norway was ranked first on the index.

7.Bandhan Bank Ltd has received approval of the Competition Commission of India (CCI) for the proposed acquisition of Gruh Finance. 8.India will hold an informal ministerial meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO) from May 13-14. New Delhi had organised such a meet of select nations in March last year.
