1.One of the country’s first Defence incubators will come up in Hyderabad, which is India’s missile development centre and fast emerging the hub for aerospace industries.The incubator will be housed at T-Hub, which has already got recognition as one of the country’s major centres for nurturing start-ups and creative ideas.

2.Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar launched the ‘Paudhagiri’ campaign, aimed at increasing the green cover in the state. Under this campaign, 22 lakh students from class 6 to 12 of all government and private schools in Haryana will plant a sapling each during three months of monsoon — July, August and September.Khattar launched the ‘Paudhagiri’ campaign by planting a ‘maulsari’ sapling in the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex premises of Gurgaon.

3.South Africa has unveiled the 64-dish MeerKAT radio telescope, slated to be the world’s largest and most powerful telescope on its completion in 2030.It is said to have 50 times better resolution than NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope when fully operational.

4.Novak Djokovic earned his first Grand Slam title in more than two years by beating Kevin Anderson to win his fourth Wimbledon championship.

5.Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu’s title drought this year continued as she suffered a straight-game defeat against Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in the summit clash of Thailand Open badminton tournament.

6.Country’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) will organise a nation-wide Kisan Mela on Wednesday as an outreach programme for farmers and to impart financial literacy.Kisan Mela is a one-of-its-kind initiative by SBI to connect with farmer customers, resolve their grievances and educate them about their rights and various banks initiatives.

7.tate Bank of India and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development have joined hands to provide collateral-free credit through Joint Liability Groups inTelangana. The two signed an MoU, along with seven NGOs from Nizamabad, Medak and Warangal districts, for the promotion and credit linkage of 2,000 JLGs during the current year.

8.The International Monetary Fund said India remains a key driver of global growth. However, the d World Economic Outlook forecast cut India’s GDP outlook one-tenth for this year to 7.3 per cent and three-tenths for next year to 7.5 per cent.The IMF said, India will still retain its top spot in the global growth league in 2019.

9.Prominent Carnatic vocalist Aruna Sairam has been selected for this year’s Sangita Kalanidhi Award, instituted by the Music Academy, Chennai. The executive committee of the academy unanimously selected her for the award.

10.Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Saran Singh is set to be named the Chef de Mission of the Asian Games-bound Indian contingent.
