1.India won the inaugural IBSF Snooker Team World Cup title. The Indian combine of Pankaj Advani and Manan Chandra defeated Pakistan in the best-of-five final played in Doha.

2.The Odisha government has launched a programme Ama Gaon, Ama Vikas (Our Village, our development) to reach out to the people in rural areas and involve themselves in the developmental activities.Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has flagged off mobile video vans for ‘Ama Gaon Ama Vikas’ programme that will move across the State to highlight various welfare schemes at villages in the state.

3.Mukul Sangma submitted his resignation from the post of Meghalaya Chief Minister. Sangma submitted his resignation to Meghalaya Governor Ganga Prasad in Shillong following the assembly election results.

6.Italy international footballer Davide Astori has been found dead in his hotel room. Astori, who was captain of Fiorentina, passed away in his sleep overnight.

7.The Reserve Bank of India has decided to do away with the per borrower loan limits to Micro/Small and Medium Enterprises (Services) for classification under priority sector lending. So far, loans to Micro/Small and Medium Enterprises (Services) up to Rs5 crore and Rs10 crore, respectively, were classified as priority sector lending (PSL). Now all bank loans to MSMEs engaged in providing or rendering services as defined in terms of investment in equipment under the MSMED Act, 2006, will qualify under priority sector without any credit cap.

8.Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha has been honoured with a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the fields of arts and politics at a ceremony in the UK’s Parliament complexThe annual ‘Political and Public Life Awards’ presented by Britain’s Asian Voice weekly newspaper recognises individuals who have made a significant impact on public life or made a difference in their local communities.

10.IndusInd Bank Limited is a Mumbai based Indian new generation bank, established in 1994. The bank offers commercial, transactional and electronic banking products and services.
