1.The Kerala government will set up the country’s first space tech park at Thiruvananthapuram's Knowledge City. The move is aimed at making the city a manufacturing hub for space-related technology.A space museum named after Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

2.The government has approved an outlay of Rs 206.8 crore for 2019-19 for a central sector scheme titled ‘Implementation of Agriculture Export Policy’. The policy seeks to double farm exports to $60 billion by 2022.Soil Health Card Mobile App was launched by Radha Mohan Singh.

3.Sri Lanka has signed an agreement with India to upgrade tracks in a key railway segment connecting the north and south at a cost of $ 91.26 million. It is the first that the 130 km-long-tracks, running from Maho town to Omanthai, are being upgraded.Minister of State for Railways – Suresh Angadi.

4.PT Usha has been nominated for the International Association of Athletics Federation’s ‘Veteran Pin’ for her outstanding service to the sport. She won 5 gold medals and a bronze medal in the Asian Games which were held at Jakarta in 1985.The 52nd IAAF Congress will be held in Qatar.

5.Bengaluru-based IT services firm Mindtree Ltd has appointed A M Naik as the company's new non-executive chairman. He replaces Krishnakumar Natarajan. L&T became the new promoter of Mindtree after buying a 60.59% stake.A M Naik is the current Chairman of Larsen and Toubro Ltd.

6.Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will launch the Global Innovation Index in New Delhi. GII will reveal the innovation rankings of economies & the findings for this year. 2019 theme is Evaluating the Medical I
GII will be launched on 24th July.
7.India's first garbage cafĂ© has launched in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. Under the program, any person fetching a kilo of plastic waste to the garbage cafe will be assured of full meal & for collecting at least 500 gm will benefit from a substantial breakfast.Garbage Cafe scheme is openly linked to ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’.
8.In the Shooting Junior World Cup, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar clinched gold with a junior world record in the final of rifle 3-position event in Suhl Germany. He defeated Zalan Pekler of Hungary for the gold.India topped on the table with 10 gold, 9 silver & 5 bronze.
9.The book titled, ‘Kargil: Untold stories from the War’ is published by Penguin Random House and it is authored by Rachna Bisht Rawat. The book is based on Rawat's interviews with war survivors and martyrs' families.2019 marks the 20th anniversary of the Kargil War.
10.Government eMarketplace and SAIL signed a pact to set up a GeM Organizational Transformation Team - Project Management Unit for transforming their procurement landscape and increasing their footprint on GeM.SAIL is the first PSU to establish GOTT PMU.
