3.Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully test-fired the multi-barrel rocket system Guided Pinaka from Pokhran range in Rajasthan for the 3rd time. The maximum range is of 40 km for Mark-I & 75 km for Mark-II.Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy is the Chairman of DRDO.
4.Anup Kumar Dubey and Sushil Kumar were appointed special directors in the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Anup Kumar Dubey has been appointed as Special Director, ED in Delhi and Sushil Kumar in Chennai.ED is part of the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
5.Bank of Baroda has become the 1st public sector bank to launch a Child Daycare facility for children of its employees at its Mumbai corporate office which has more than 1500 employees. Bank of Baroda will bear 60% of cost every month for each employee.BOB tied up with Klay Prep Schools & Daycare for this facility.
6.Google launches YouTube Music (ad-supported), YouTube Music Premium (ad-free), YouTube Premium (ad-free) in India. The monthly subscription of YouTube Music Premium costs Rs 99, and YouTube Premium is available at a monthly rental of Rs 129 in India.Youtube was founded by Jawed Karim, Steve Chen & Chad Hurley.
7.SEBI withdrew the 20 percent limit on investments by Foreign Portfolio Investors in corporate bonds of an entity.
