1.Reliance Jio launched a new initiative called ‘Digital Udaan’. This is a digital literacy programme that will help those with internet but are not savvy enough to use the various apps and features available online.Reliance has roped in Facebook for this project.

2.The Henley Passport Index is based on data provided by IATA and covers 199 passports and 227 travel destinations.Japan and Singapore have held onto their position as the world's most travel-friendly passports, with South Korea dropping into second place.IATA:International Air Transport Authority

3.To acquire the capability to hit enemy positions close to populated areas without causing collateral damage, the Indian Army is in the process of acquiring Excalibur guided long-range artillery ammunition which can strike targets more than 50 km away.India’s Defence Minister: Rajnath Singh

6.The Indian Rupee will now be accepted for transaction at all airports in Dubai.The Indian currency is now acceptable at all three terminals of the Dubai International Airport and at Al Maktoum Airport.INR is the 16th currency to be accepted at Dubai Duty-Free.

9.The 2019 "State of the Education Report for India: Children with Disabilities" took into account the 2011 census.

10.India’s ride-hailing platform Ola Cabs, run by ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd, has received approval from London’s transport regulator to start PHV in London. Ola UK Pvt. Ltd has received a 1-yr carriage licence from TFL to operate PHV vehicles across London.PHV: private hire vehicles.
