1.Fertilizer Subsidy allocation has seen a hike of around 10,000 crore rupees in the Union Budget. The allocation has been increased from 70,090 crore rupees in 2018-19 to 79,996 crore rupees in 2019-20.Chemicals & Fertilizers Minister: DV Sadananda Gowda.

2.Indian Haj mission in Saudi Arabia adopted digital technology by introducing Haj App. Indian diplomats in Saudi Arabia are trying to form a bridge with the pilgrims to facilitate hassle-free services.Currently the App can be used in English, Hindi and Urdu.

3.J & K government has approved Aadhaar-linked payment mode for disbursal of pension to beneficiaries under various central and state-sponsored schemes in order to ensure transparency and avoid delays in disbursement of pension.J & K Governor: Satya Pal Malik

4.French parliament approved a small, pioneering tax on internet giants like Google, Amazon and Facebook & hopes that other countries will follow the suit. 5.Ancient Mesopotamian city of Babylon has been declared a Unesco World Heritage Site. Iraq has been lobbying since 1983 for the 4,000-year-old site to be added to the UN's prestigious list. The city was famous for its Hanging Gardens.Hanging Gardens were a part of 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.

6.Pink City Jaipur, known for its iconic architectural legacy and vibrant culture, has made its entry into the UNESCO World Heritage Site list.The decision was taken at the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO at Baku in Azerbaijan.Mumbai's Victorian Gothic & Art Deco was put in the list in 2018.

7.To push digital payments, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced multiple measures in her maiden Budget, including levying 2% tax deducted at source on cash withdrawals exceeding ₹1 crore in a year from a bank account.Chief Economic Adviser: K Subramanian.

8.J&K Bank announced the appointment of Rajni Saraf as the chief financial officer (CFO) of the bank. 9.35-year old Dutch player Arjen Robben won 12 league titles in a glittering career, and 96 caps for his country including playing in the 2010 World Cup final in Johannesburg has retired from football.2022 FIFA World Cup host: Qatar.

10.Actor Cameron Boyce, known for his roles in the Disney Channel franchise "Descendants" and the TV show "Jessie," has died. He was just 20 years old due to "an ongoing medical condition".Boyce raised $30,000 for clean drinking water in Swaziland
