1.RBI will set up a committee to review ATM charges and fees. It is a move that could impact the charges paid by customers of other banks to use the facility. The panel will be headed by VG Kannan, CEO of Indian Banks’ Association.RBI decided to remove charges on NEFT & RTGS transactions.

5.IRDAI has increased the mandatory third-party motor insurance premium by up to 21% for certain categories. It will be applicable from June 16. The new TP insurance for smaller cars (less than 1000 cc) will cost ₹ 2072 or 12% from the existing ₹ 1850.IRDA set up as an autonomous body under the IRDA Act, 1999.

10.American singer Malcolm John Rebennack has died at 77. He was known for music combining blues, pop, jazz, boogie-woogie and rock and roll. He was a six-time Grammy winner. He recognized as a solo performer with the release of his album Gris-Gris in 1968.He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011
