1.Karnataka government has launched a programme called ‘E-Step’ to empower student start-ups towards entrepreneurship. The programme focuses on boot camps, mentoring & training programs which cover various aspects of entrepreneurship.Karnataka: CM - B.S. Yediyurappa; Governor - Vajubhai Vala.

10.Former Additional Solicitor General Amarendra Sharan has died at the age of 70. He represented the Centre as the additional solicitor general from 2004 to 2009.
