1.India’s first international financial services centre GIFT City has appointed former Corporate Affairs Secretary Tapan Ray as the Managing Director. He was given additional charge as interim Economic Affairs Secretary recently.GIFT City is a Gujarat govt project in partnership with IL&FS.

7.Yuvraj Singh has announced his retirement from International Cricket. He played 400 games for India. He came into the India ODI fold in October 2000 in the ICC knockout tournament in Nairobi. He became a part of the Indian T20 International squad in 2007.He played 40 Tests, scoring 1900 runs with an average of 33.92.
8.Acc to the CRISIL report, the NPAs stock has declined to 9.3% as of Mar 2019 after tripling to 11.5% in the 4 fiscals till Mar 2018. The gross NPA ratio of both public &private sector banks showed a half-yearly decline for the first time since Mar 2015.CRISIL is headquartered in Mumbai.
